PlainCheck has no server. It makes no network requests of any kind — you can verify that in DevTools. It requests no host permissions, so it has no standing access to any site; it can only read a page after you click the toolbar icon, and only that page.
Readability formulas estimate structural difficulty from sentence and word length. They do not measure whether your meaning is clear, whether your facts are right, or whether your page meets accessibility standards. Use PlainCheck alongside human review, not instead of it.
